Astride Research LLC, a Delaware limited liability company doing business as Primary (“Primary,” “we,” “us”), operates primaryintel.ai and a recruiting platform that connects employers with a vetted network of independent industrial recruiters. This policy describes what information we collect through our website and services, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Employer requests. When you request a search or book a call, we collect your name, company, work contact details, and information about the role you want filled (title, location, compensation range, shift, and related requirements).
- Recruiter applications. When you apply to join the network, we collect your name, contact details, and information about your recruiting experience, specialties, and track record.
- Careers and referrals. When you submit a profile or referral, we collect the information you provide about yourself or the person you refer.
- Scheduling. Calls are booked through our scheduling provider, which collects the details you enter (such as name, email, and meeting time) under its own privacy policy.
- Correspondence and usage. We keep the emails and messages you send us and standard technical logs generated when you use the site.
How we use information
- To evaluate and respond to search requests, applications, profiles, and referrals.
- To operate the marketplace: scoping roles, matching recruiters, coordinating interviews, and managing placements.
- To communicate with you about your request, application, or account.
- To improve our services and maintain their security.
Candidate information and consent
Consent is a working rule of our marketplace: recruiters in the Primary network are required to obtain a candidate’s permission before submitting them for a role, and submissions are recorded with timestamps. If you believe your information was submitted to us without your consent, contact us and we will investigate and remove it where appropriate.
How we share information
We do not sell personal information. We share it only with: (a) the parties needed to run a search (for example, sharing relevant role and candidate details between an employer and the recruiters assigned to that role); (b) service providers that support our operations, such as hosting, databases, scheduling, and email, who process it on our behalf; and (c) authorities where required by law.
Retention and deletion
We retain information for as long as needed for the purposes above, including maintaining the placement records our marketplace rules depend on. You can request access to or deletion of your personal information by emailing founders@primaryintel.ai; we will honor requests except where we need to keep records to meet legal or contractual obligations.
Security
Information is transmitted over HTTPS and stored with access controls limited to the people who need it to run searches. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information with practices appropriate to its sensitivity.
Changes
If we make material changes to this policy, we will update this page and revise the effective date above.
